The City of Des Moines (Iowa) is using a mobile radar unit to catch speeders. The unit is a white Ford Explorer with a Des Moines Police Department logo on the side. Often it will be parked near a road with orange cones behind it. This speed trap changes location daily. Avoid speeding tickets! Locations for this week not announced.
As of 8:30am on 3/12/12 the Des Moines Police Department has not posted this week's locations for the mobile speeding camera. I'll update with locations when they share the information.
Unfortunately, the Des Moines Police Department did not post locations for the mobile speeding unit this week. Hopefully it means the unit was not deployed. I'll let you know about next weeks locations once they post them.
